Training Your Child
Today's Verse
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Parents are a child’s first teacher. Whether we like it or not, our children learn from us. This verse tells us that we should train our children in the way that they should go. Training is not an easy task; yet it can be so rewarding. Remember that you are not alone. After all, we have the ultimate teacher at hand to lead us and teach us in the way to raise our children. Remember that we are God's children; created in his image. Your children will come to you with many questions; just as you take your questions to God. Don't let "society" raise your children. Train them with spiritual guidance and bring them up knowing Jesus. The Bible is the best training manual there is.
