Responding to God's Blessings
Today's Verse
“What shall I render to the Lord, for all his benefits to me?” – Psalm 116:12
The verse contains a beautiful question that every Christian should ask. We all know that whatever we give to God, even if we would give to Him all the riches in this world, these can never match or even equal all the blessings that we have received from Him. But the good thing is that God would gladly accept any offering as long as we offer it with sincerity and love for Him. God is more concerned with the attitude of the giver rather than the amount of the offering. Like the attitude of David when he said, “I will not offer anything that cost me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24) and the widow who offered only two small coins in the temple (Luke 21:2). But the best offering that we can give to God is our bodies as a living sacrifice, that are holy and acceptable to Him. (Romans 12:1).
